SSM Health Care transferred ownership of St. Francis Hospital & Health Center to MSMC Investors on July 30, 2008. SSM Health Care no longer operates the hospital, which is now named MetroSouth Medical Center. SSM Home Care’s Blue Island home health and hospice operations were also transferred to MSMC Investors.
